Profitability Bookkeeping

The Reindeer Herders’ Association is responsible of collecting information on the profitability bookkeeping (Kapi) and saving this information to the LUKE information system.

The information collected annually from chosen reindeer farms builds up to a knowledge base on the profitability of reindeer husbandry. There are altogether 75 set reindeer farms that participate to this research.

These profitability calculations include finances related to the reindeer husbandry. The income and expenditure are collected from Pomu-bookkeeping system. The financial statements and developments are calculated on the basis of this information. Average figures are also calculated on the bases of this information.
