Näkkälä reindeer herding cooperative is part of Enontekiö reindeer marking district. The cooperative is located to the southern part of Enontekiö municipality.
The cooperative borders with Norway in north. In east with Sallivaara, in south with Kyrö and Muonio cooperatives. In west it borders with Sweden and Käsivarsi cooperative.
78.5 % of the cooperative’s total area is state land and 21.5 % is owned by other landowners.
