It is not good to keep reindeer in a fence throughout the year. It suffers and gets easily ill and in the worst case dies in these kinds of conditions.<\/p>\n<p>There is a free right for grazing in the reindeer husbandry area regardless of the land owner. Hence, reindeer are able to live freely in the nature. There is no such free grazing right in Southern Finland or abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Due to animal welfare, we do not recommend taking reindeer to places where they cannot live as they should be able to live.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Is a reindeer suitable for being a pet?
