Instructions for Reindeer Herders

The reindeer herding cooperative is responsible to act when they get an announcement about reindeer that are in an area where they can cause damage. If the cooperative neglects its obligations, the landowner or person who has otherwise suffered damages has a right to take the reindeer away in the expense of the cooperative.

Every time reindeer are taken from an area by the cooperative, all the actions with dates and times have to be written down carefully. It is also good to visit the other party and let them know what has been done or in other way make sure that the information reaches all the parties.
