Hammastunturi reindeer herding cooperative is part of Inari reindeer marking district. The cooperative is located in the southern part of the Inari municipality. The cooperative borders in north with Muddusjärvi, in east with Ivalo, in south with Lappi, in west with Sallivaara and in northwest with Muotkatunturi cooperative.
83.5 % of the cooperative’s total area is state land and 16.5 % is owned by other landowners.
